The annual general meeting was held on Thursday, Feb. 21. The new executive was elected and the basic running of the club was discussed. The meeting minutes have been posted (under the Club section).
It was decided that the club will not meet every month as it currently does but every second one. The executive will likely meet in the off month and will take on a bigger role of taking care of the everyday business in order to prevent certain topics from being continually rehashed at club meetings. We will try (and the "we" hopefully means all members) to engage in more exciting activities in the second half of meetings such as viewing a slideshow of someone's recent flying trip, watching flying videos or an educational session on topics such as the weather. This will require input and effort on behalf of numerous members so please step forward if you can.
Dues were paid by all members present at the meeting and numerous others mailed in their cheques. If you are unsure of where to send your dues, please email me (daveunderdog[REMOVE THIS]@gmail.com).

Torge is also the society's representative at the BCHPA and Amir Izadi is the new secretary of HPAC (congrats guys!).
The date of the next club meeting is yet to be determined...so keep your eyes posted here.
